Storms Over Toronto

This is a great short film by Dave Laird taken from a 40 Homewood balcony on the 14th floor facing west.

"This is a timelapse recording I took from my balcony starting just before an approaching thunderstorm on the afternoon of May 15th, 2007. It's shot with a 7 megapixel digital still camera with one frame every 20 or 30 seconds. The night sky kept looking so cool that I decided to leave the camera running all night long. The original frames are all 3072x2304 pixels -- way higher than HD's 1920x1080 size. This yields a lot of versatility for panning and zooming around the image. The HD version is amazing.
